THINGS WHICH ENDANGER HUMAN RIGHT
The following were the some of the things endanger human right in our society in the present days especially in Tanzania context;
1. A parent sharing sexual intercourse with his or her children. This is common in our African countries and some of the families hide this issue to hide the shame of the family. So, most of the African countries like Tanzania this violance among children under 18 age were commonly takes place and many African communities turn a blind eye to this issue to protect the honor of the family regardless of whether they humiliate thay are children sexually.
2. A male parent forcibly interferes with his daughter sexually. Also, this is another humiliation which is done by the parents to their children especially male parent forced they daughter to be they are wife. This things we should make sure stopped in our community with our all effort in order to protect our children.
3. A parent forcing a young female child to marry in order to gain wealth. This is commonly in the pastoralist societies like madai people and the people who live around lake Victoria (Sukuma people) in Tanzania mainland. In real sense this issue it seems like normal thing but in reality we are ruining the lives of our children because of the wealth that can disappeared at any time. All of this can be applied to both male and female children, as male were forced to Mary even if they were not ready to handle family conflict but to practice father's pride of having many grand sons and daughters for accumulating wealth after they were rexh the age of marriage.
4. The father of the family misuses the family's property and leaves the family with nothing. This is another way of sexual violance in many families in Tanzania. The father of the family is responsible for spending money, it doesn't matter if he spends badly or spends with other women (cuncubine). This is sexual violance because it does not give women in the family right to own or use family's properties like money.
5. Beatings for women that lead to family unhappiness. Also this is another things which endanger human right. This is because when children witness violance between their parents every day, they develop sense of fear in that family, thus leading the whole family to lack peace and love. Therefore, these acts of sexual violance must be completely stopped in our society
6. A woman staying in a marriage for more than one to three years, etc. without being given her rights by her husband (love/domestic requirement) and remaining doing family work, at the end of the day she is kicked out and is given nothing more than leaving with just a piece of clothing.
7. Preventing the child from going to school, this comes when the child is deliberately threatened to fail the exam and if he or she doesn't do that then he has to find a place to live because his or herbparents don't have the money to continue educating him or her. This is also sexual violence that is done in our society, so we have to make sure it is stopped forever for the benefit of our future generations.
8. Beating children, especially children who are adopted. This is also is another sexual violence that many people have forgotten or do not talk about this sexual violance, they claiming that any parent has the right to spank a child for the purpose of teaching him manners. Society as a whole should be shocked and look at this matter seriously so that we can save the lives of many children who suffer from this sexual abuse/violance.
9. Employment for the children under 18 years old. This is common human violance which endanger human right for a long time in our planet. Many children abused through this abusive system. Community should take a step to ensure this kind of sexual violance among children stopped and children getting they right to be protected.
10. A man preventing a woman from going to great her parents/siblings. This issues in our community is taken very simple without knowing that we are committing sexual violence because we are interfering human freedom, so many women do not speak for this sexual violance, so they remain hurt inside. As a society we have the right to condemn this brutality in our society.
11. A woman prevented from collaborating with theirvfellow women to share feminine matters. It is anther sexual violance like other sexual violance which faced by many of the women in our community either by knowing or not knowing.
12. A parent insults his or her older son or daughter because of some carelessly and sometime beats them in front of people such as his wife or other friends. Also this is another sexual violance which hinder human right in the community.
13. The father of the family returns drunk frequently and begins to abuse and beat his family members such as his wife. This is also sexual violance which hinder human right in our community.
14. The father of the house forces the family to bring the very little food that brings the family members to stay with people in case they are not satisfied.
15. Forcing a child to become independent with his family while he is still less than eighteen (18) years old and without even giving him a start.
